Egglings – Mini Herb and Flower Pots

Egglings are wildly popular in Japan but also available here in the US. Egglings are made from a porous ceramic egg containing a peat mixture. All you do is crack the top of the egg, pour in the seeds and water the plant every now and then. Plants will grow for about 5 months in the egg and then can be planted elsewhere. Currently comes in basil, mint, lobelia and phlox.

Very cool idea for a gift or for yourself.
