The Arcade Fire Funeral

One of my friends has been borrowing my Arcade Fire Funeral CD for the past year or so and I finally got it back the other day just before he moved to Miami. I had forgotten how amazing that album is. If you’ve never heard The Arcade Fire then you definitely need to check them out. The 4th track, Neighborhood #3 (Power Out), is worth the price of admission. Other highlights include Une Annee Sans Lumiere, Rebellion (Lies) and Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels).
Don’t just take my word for it though:

The Arcade Fire also have a self-titled EP available that in my opinion isn’t quite as good as Funeral but still worth a listen. Hailing from Montreal, The Arcade Fire burst onto the music scene in the fall of 2004 and have been building a fairly obsessive fan base ever sense, why not join in on the fun?
